Harsha Chemudu’s Least Eligible Bachelor is getting a wider digital reach, with Netflix set to stream the series in five languages. The 10-episode series will be available on Netflix and ETV Win from October 9, giving the Telugu comedy a multilingual OTT release.
Directed by Babu Degala, the series follows Teja and his boss Madhu, who unexpectedly find themselves matched for marriage. The two ask for six months to decide whether they should go ahead with the relationship, but there is a catch. They have to live together during that period, setting up the situations that drive the comedy.
Harsha Chemudu plays the lead role, with Aishwarya Holakkal as the female lead. Hyper Aadi, Jeevan Kumar, Shravya Chowdhury and Sri Vidya are also part of the cast. The series has music by Ajay Arasada.
What makes the OTT release interesting is its five-language availability. Along with Telugu, Least Eligible Bachelor will stream in Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam on Netflix. This gives the series an opportunity to reach audiences beyond its original Telugu market.
The series also comes at an interesting point in Harsha Chemudu’s career as he continues to explore lead roles while retaining the comic timing audiences have associated with him. The relationship-driven setup, workplace backdrop and ensemble of comedy actors add to the light-hearted nature of the series.
With its unusual marriage setup and Harsha Chemudu leading the cast, Least Eligible Bachelor aims to offer a fun OTT watch. The five-language release further expands its reach, making the series accessible to viewers across different regions. Least Eligible Bachelor will be available to stream on Netflix and ETV Win from October 9.
