Laila Trailer out; Entertainment is the primary motive, says Vishwak Sen

Laila will hit the screens on February 14th . Director Ram Narayan has wielded the megaphone for this Valentine s Day release. Vishwak Sen has donned the get-up of a woman for this comedy entertainer, whose Trailer release event was held today. Speaking on the occasion, Vishwak said, Our resolve is to leave the audience in splits, especially young audiences. The toughest part while doing the film was that I couldn't roam freely after shaving off my beard and moustache and all the waxing. It was initially mentally tough to be able to move freely among hundreds of people on set. Each time, it would take two hours to put on the make-up of a woman. This brand of comedy (referring to the double-meaning dialogues in the film) too is enjoyed by the audience. Rajendra Prasad's Madam was released more than two decades ago. Most audiences won't compare Laila with Madam. There is a vacuum for this kind of a comedy. Which is why I have donned the get-up of a woman. The film is set in the Old City.
