Shah Rukh Khan is gearing up for his next big-screen outing with King, an action thriller directed by Siddharth Anand. The film is among the most anticipated Bollywood releases of the year, and fresh reports suggest that its teaser could be unveiled on November 2, coinciding with the superstar’s birthday. The film is scheduled to arrive in theatres on December 24, 2026.
According to reports, the teaser will introduce audiences to Shah Rukh Khan in a striking new avatar, offering a glimpse of the film’s action and larger-than-life presentation. If the plans materialise, the birthday launch could also mark the beginning of the film’s major promotional campaign. However, the teaser date has not yet been officially confirmed by the makers.
The film’s final shooting schedule is also drawing attention, with reports indicating that the team is working on action sequences and additional song portions. Kareena Kapoor Khan is reportedly set to appear alongside Shah Rukh Khan in a special song titled Daddy Cool. Suhana Khan is also part of the film and is expected to feature in key sequences.
Apart from Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana Khan, the film features Abhishek Bachchan and Deepika Padukone in key roles, alongside Rani Mukerji, Anil Kapoor and Raghav Juyal. Produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and Marflix, King reunites Shah Rukh Khan with Siddharth Anand following Pathaan. With its star-studded cast and action-driven premise, the film is gearing up for a Christmas release.
