Khaleja: Mahesh Babu's classic sets Nizam record upon its re-release

Superstar Mahesh Babu's Khaleja (4K) re-release grossed Rs 3.48 crore in Nizam on its opening day . The record-shattering figure also includes the total from Thursday's premieres. The film, re-released on May 30th, has become the highest-grossing re-release in Telangana. This was anticipated by producer C Kalyan in a pre-release interview. Khaleja, directed by Trivikram Srinivas and co-starring Anushka Shetty and others, has enjoyed immense craze during the re-release. The film is doing exceptionally well in North America as well. A trade report says that the Day 2 bookings are more than that of some re-releases' Day 1 numbers. These are sensational figures. The cult classic continues to roar, wrote Prathyangira Cinemas, which has brought the re-release to overseas audiences in NA. Earlier, Mahesh Babu's Pokiri, Businessman and Murari, too, had done very well in the US. But Khaleja has surpassed those performances.
