Karthi's Sardar 2 shoot wraps up, post-production in full swing

Sardar 2 has completed filming. Taking to social media, here is what actor Karthi wrote, That s a wrap! What an adventure it s been!! Production house Prince Pictures reiterated the news, stating, Entire shoot for the film wrapped up and we are in post-production, full swing. The film was announced in October 2022. It commenced its shoot in July 2024. https: twitter.com Karthi Offl status 1906617074749001733 The spy action thriller film is directed by PS Mithran . Written by Rathna Kumar, Ashameera Aiyappan and Vignesh Muniyandi, its screenplay is written by Nambi. While Karthi features in a dual role, Rajisha Vijayan is joined by SJ Suryah (who recently won a Gaddar Telangana Film Award for Saripodhaa Sanivaaram), Malavika Mohanan and Naa Saami Ranga beauty Ashika Ranganath. The power-packed sequel has music composed by Sam CS , while the cinematography is handled by George C Williams. The film is an official sequel to the 2022 movie, Sardar, which co-starred Karthi, Raashii Khanna and Rajisha Vijayan. Actor Karthi was seen in Sathyam Sundaram last year. He had a cameo in Suriya's Kanguva. Recently, his LCU movie Kaithi 2 was formally announced. It will be a 2026 release.
