'Kannappa' a Divine Undertaking, Says Manchu Vishnu

Speaking at the pre-release event of Kannappa, Manchu Vishnu sounded philosophical when he stated that the film was materialized by Lord Shiva Himself. He attributed the conception and successful making of the devotional drama to God's will. In our lives, we are all skeptical about whether God truly exists. At times, we become impatient. Bhakti stems from many questions. Kannappa is the tale of a true devotee whose story had to be told to this generation. After five decades, ours is the first devotional movie based on him, Vishnu said. Kannappa walks the path of sacrifice, proving that true love for Lord Shiva knows no limits! A legend will rise, a story will echo for eternity! (sic), the makers of the much-awaited movie wrote recently. In his speech, he showered love on Prabhas . More than his stardom, people should admire his kind nature. If he acted in Kannappa, it was solely out of respect and love for my father, Mohan Babu garu, Vishnu said. Earlier, in interviews, Vishnu revealed that the Kalki 2898 AD actor didn't take any fee for doing a role in the movie. Brahmanandam delivered a 26-minute speech at the event. It is Brahmanandam uncle who has been constantly boosting my confidence, assuring me that Kannappa will surely be a special movie, Vishnu said. The film, co-starring Akshay Kumar, Mohanlal, Sarathkumar, Kajal Aggarwal and several others, will be released in theatres on June 27th .
