Kaantha: Dulquer Salmaan's film lands a dramatic teaser

Celebrate the golden age of silver screens with us. Watch the first teaser of Kaantha , wrote producer Rana Daggubati, sharing a dramatic teaser of Kaantha. The film stars Bhagyashri Borse as a cinema actress and Dulquer Salmaan's pair. Samuthirakani , the versatile actor of Krack, Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, RRR and Bheemla Nayak fame, essays the role of an auteur who locks horns with his film's hero (Dulquer) days after he sets out to make Telugu cinema's first horror movie, titled Shaantha. Their personal estrangement from each other spills over into the project and the sets of Shaantha are witness to their barely-concealed rivalry. The film is a collaborative effort between the production houses Spirit Media and Wayfarer Films. Behind the camera, Dani Sanchez Lopez served as the Director of Photography, while Llewellyn Anthony Gonsalvez handled the editing. Ramalingam was the Art Director, and Jhanu Chanthar composed the music. Thamizh Prabha contributed as the Additional Dialogues and Story Consultant, and also co-wrote the additional screenplay with Sri Harsha Rameshwaram. Kaantha will hit the screens on September 12th, 2025 . The teaser was released today as Dulquer Salmaan turned a year older.
