Jatadhara rakes in Rs 4.62 Cr Worldwide in First 3 Days

The supernatural thriller Jatadhara , starring Sudheer Babu and Sonakshi Sinha, has logged an impressive 4.62 crores gross box office collection (GBOC) worldwide in just three days . Released on November 7, the film blends Indian folklore with gripping suspense, wooing audiences in Telugu and Hindi. Sudheer Babu plays a skeptical ghost-hunter in the movie. His character willingly accepts risks, believing that his purpose in life is to prove that fear is the biggest demon. When a series of mysterious incidents happen, he realizes that there is more to his life and past than meets the eye. Sonakshi Sinha plays a Dhana Pisachi (wealth demoness) whose vengeance and wrath can be startling. The climax deploys the Lord Shiva mythology, justifying the title of the movie. Produced by Umesh Kumar Bansal, Shivin Narang, Aruna Agarwal, Prerna Arora, Shilpa Singhal, Nikhil Nanda, Jatadhara is helmed by Venkat Kalyan and Abhishek Jaiswal. Written by Venkat Kalyan, it is an Ess Kay Gee Entertainment Film. The Telugu-Hindi release also features Srinivas Avasarala (as a paranormal specialist), Rajeev Kanakala (as the male lead s father), Jhansi (as the male lead s mother), and others.
