Jailer 2 continues to make noise online with “One Name,” which has now crossed 3 million views on YouTube. The third song from the film arrived on September 29 and quickly became another talking point in the musical campaign.
The makers had earlier shared the 1 million views milestone soon after the lyrical video was released. The song has since added another two million views, showing that the initial interest has continued beyond its early release hours.
“One Name” is built around Rajinikanth’s larger-than-life presence and his character, Muthuvel Pandian. The track celebrates the Superstar’s aura while also marking his 50 years in cinema. Anirudh Ravichander composed the song, with lyrics by Super Subu.
The lyrical video combines animated portions with glimpses of Rajinikanth from Jailer 2 and behind-the-scenes visuals. This gives the song a promotional role beyond the music, offering audiences another glimpse into the world of the sequel.
The 3 million views milestone comes on an important day for the film’s music. Jailer 2’s fourth single is releasing today at 6 PM, giving fans another song to look forward to. The full album is also scheduled to arrive today, making September 30 a major musical update for the film.
Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, Jailer 2 stars Rajinikanth alongside an ensemble cast and is produced by Sun Pictures. The film is scheduled to release worldwide on October 15.
With “One Name” reaching 3 million views and another single arriving today, the musical promotions of Jailer 2 are moving into an even busier phase ahead of its theatrical release.
