The music promotions for Jailer 2 are moving forward with the announcement of the film’s second single. Titled “One Sun One Moon,” the song is set to be released on September 25, giving fans another musical update ahead of the film’s theatrical release.
The announcement was accompanied by a fun promotional video featuring a conversation between Nelson Dilipkumar and Anirudh Ravichander. Instead of revealing much about the actual song, the promo focuses on their playful discussion about how the track should sound. Nelson asks for an international-style mass number, while Anirudh works through his suggestions, leading to a humorous exchange between the two.
The promo also builds curiosity around the title “One Sun One Moon.” Reports note that the phrase appears to connect with the popular fan expression around Rajinikanth, while the promotional material itself hints at the larger “One Sun, One Moon, One Superstar” idea.
This will be the second major song release from the film after “Ala Bolelo,” which arrived in August. The new track therefore gives the music campaign another point of focus as the film gets closer to its October 15 theatrical release.
Interestingly, the makers have chosen to make the announcement itself entertaining rather than simply revealing the song title and date. The Nelson and Anirudh interaction gives the audience a small taste of the fun behind the track while keeping the actual song experience for September 25.
With “One Sun One Moon” arriving tomorrow, attention will now be on the complete song and what the latest addition brings to the Jailer 2 album.
