'Jailer 2' Release Timeline Revealed: Superstar Rajinikanth makes a statement

Superstar Rajinikanth has confirmed a tentative release timeline for the highly anticipated sequel to his blockbuster film, Jailer. The legendary actor was recently spotted at Chennai airport, where he spoke briefly with reporters before departing for a six-day shooting schedule in Kerala. When questioned about the progress of Jailer 2 , the Coolie actor shared, The shooting of Jailer 2 is happening. Its theatrical release will happen only after June 2026 . While no specific date has been announced, the after June 2026 timeline gives a clear indication that audiences will have to wait a little over a year to see the film on the big screen. The film went on the floors in March of this year. Director Nelson Dilipkumar and music composer Anirudh Ravichander are working on the crazy sequel. The first part of the film was a monster hit. Anirudh s music played a stellar role in its success. Last year, Rajini was seen in Vettaiyan . Coolie , his most recent movie, is currently streaming on OTT. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, Coolie also features Nagarjuna, Soubin Shahir, Upendra, Sathyaraj, Shruti Haasan and Aamir Khan in a cameo.
