Jailer 2 is steadily getting bigger as it moves towards its theatrical release, and its distribution network is now reflecting the scale of the Rajinikanth starrer. With multiple distributors coming on board across different territories, the sequel is preparing for a wide theatrical rollout both in India and overseas.
The latest addition is Phars Film, which will handle the distribution of Jailer 2 across the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman and Bahrain. This gives the film a strong presence across the major Gulf markets and adds another major distributor to its worldwide release plan.
The Gulf announcement follows distribution deals announced for several other territories. Shloka Entertainment is handling North America, Europe, Africa, the UK, Sri Lanka and Nepal, while Gokulam Movies has come on board for Kerala and Karnataka.
Taken together, the announcements show how widely Jailer 2 is being positioned for its theatrical run. Instead of relying on a single overseas market or distributor, the film is building a broad network across several major territories, giving the sequel a wide international release footprint.
This also adds to the scale surrounding the film ahead of its October 15 release. With Rajinikanth returning as Muthuvel Pandian and Nelson Dilipkumar expanding the world of Jailer, the distribution activity is now becoming another notable part of the film’s pre-release campaign. Sun Pictures has officially confirmed the October 15 worldwide theatrical release.
With more territories being locked and major distributors taking charge across key markets, Jailer 2 is clearly getting the kind of wide theatrical reach expected from a major Rajinikanth release.
