The much-awaited teaser of Itllu Arjuna has finally been unveiled, offering a closer look at the world created by debutant director Mahesh Uppala. Starring Aniesh and Anaswara Rajan in the lead roles, the teaser adds another layer of curiosity around this upcoming Telugu romantic action drama.
Itllu Arjuna marks Aniesh’s debut as a lead actor, and the promotional material so far has placed his character at the centre of the story. Rather than introducing him through conventional hero moments, the film has been building his identity through expressions, body language and physical performance. This becomes particularly interesting as Aniesh plays a character who cannot communicate through speech, making his performance an important part of the film’s appeal.
The film is written and directed by Mahesh Uppala and produced by Venky Kudumula under What Next Entertainments. Anaswara Rajan plays the female lead, while S Thaman is composing the music. Raja Mahadevan handles the cinematography and Koti K is the editor. The film has already created interest through its title glimpse and songs, with Hai Re and Chinni Chinni introducing the lead pair and their romantic chemistry.
The unusual protagonist remains one of the biggest points of intrigue surrounding Itllu Arjuna. With Aniesh taking on a challenging role in his debut film, audiences have been curious about how the story balances romance, action and the character’s unique situation. The teaser now gives the first proper look at how these elements come together.
The chemistry between Aniesh and Anaswara Rajan is another key aspect of the film. Their pairing has already received attention through the released songs, while the promotional material has suggested that their relationship forms an important part of the narrative.
The teaser introduces Arjuna as a mute protagonist who gets caught in a crime-related conflict while also experiencing a strong love angle with Anaswara Rajan’s character. Though he cannot speak, Arjuna’s feelings are clearly conveyed through his expressions and actions, especially when it comes to his love. The teaser also hints at a mysterious magician-like character, adding another layer of intrigue to the story. Backed by S Thaman’s music, the teaser blends romance, crime and action while keeping the exact connection between these elements under wraps.
Itllu Arjuna is scheduled to hit worldwide theatres on October 9, 2026. With the teaser now out, the film enters the next phase of its promotional campaign ahead of its Dasara release.
