Allu Arjun and Atlee’s much-awaited Raaka has once again become a talking point after Tamil filmmaker Cibi Chakravarthy shared an interesting update about the film at a recent public event. While the makers have maintained a relatively secretive promotional approach so far, Cibi’s comments have now added fresh curiosity about what could be revealed next.
Speaking at the event, Cibi Chakravarthy revealed that Atlee had shown him some footage from Raaka. The director was particularly impressed by the visuals and said that he had not seen visuals of that kind even in Avatar. Cibi described what he saw as extraordinary and expressed his belief that Atlee could take Indian cinema to another level with Raaka.
The biggest talking point, however, was his mention of a three-day wait. Cibi told the audience that they would get to see the visuals themselves in three days, strongly hinting at an upcoming promotional reveal. Reports are now pointing towards a major glimpse around September 21, which also happens to be Atlee’s birthday. The makers have not, however, officially announced the format of the reveal yet.
The anticipation has also been building through the film’s recent promotional activity. A cryptic “37” post from Sun Pictures and a subsequent video carrying the phrase “global triumph” have triggered several theories about an upcoming reveal. The interpretation of “37” as a reference to September 21 remains fan speculation and has not been officially confirmed.
For now, Cibi’s comments have raised expectations around the visual scale of Raaka. If the hinted reveal arrives as expected, audiences could finally get their first substantial look at the world Atlee has been creating with Allu Arjun.
