Hollywood's Guy Norris joins 'Ramayana', works closely with Yash

The Hindi film industry s epic magnum opus, Ramayana , stars Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi as Rama and Sita, respectively. As is known, actor Yash will be seen as Ravana in the prestigious duology. The news is that the project has a renowned Hollywood stunt director on board. He is Guy Norris of Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, Mad Max: Fury Road and The Suicide Squad fame. As per Variety, Norris is set to choreograph elaborate action sequences tailored specifically for the massive scale of this mythological adaptation. The report adds that Norris is currently in India working closely with the KGF star. https: twitter.com vamsikaka status 1927956870620430648 Yash is committed to a substantial 60-70 day shooting schedule for the first part, the report quotes the makers as saying. To be released in two parts, the Ramayana films are bankrolled by Namit Malhotra and Yash himself. Part 1 will be a Diwali 2026 release. Part 2 will be a Diwali 2027 release. Yash is also doing Toxic , written and directed by Geetu Mohandas. The international-range project has been shot in English as well. The film is all set to be released in theatres on March 19th, 2026 . The makers recently said that the film will light up the extended weekend of Ugadi, Gudi Padwa, and Eid.
