Published: 2025-09-24
Tamannaah Bhatia has credited Allu Arjun with significantly influencing her growth as a dancer during their collaboration on the 2011 Telugu film Badrinath . In a recent interview, she shared that early in her career, she was performing multiple songs in commercial films across Telugu and Tamil cinema, but it was Allu Arjun who encouraged her to push her boundaries with more challenging choreography. Specifically, she said: Back then, I was doing all kinds of commercial films in Telugu and Tamil, performing four to five songs in each film. But it was Allu Arjun who pushed me to try the toughest dance steps in Badrinath. She further elaborated that Allu Arjun insisted on her performing floor movements alongside him, telling the director that she was capable of handling equally tough choreography. Bunny encouraged me to take it up, she added, referring to Allu Arjun by his nickname. Following the film's release, this experience led to her receiving more opportunities in dance-heavy roles. This sentiment has been echoed in social media clips from her interviews, where she reiterated: Bunny wanted me to do hardest steps with him in songs because of that I got many offers after Badrinath movie.
