Genelia D'Souza talks about her acting plans

Genelia D'Souza , who shot to fame early in her career with a Parker Pen commercial with Amitabh Bachchan, became a household name in Telugu with Bommarillu in 2006. The talented actress will be seen in a major role in Junior , starring Kireeti and Sreeleela in lead roles. Junior hits the screens on July 18th . Asked if she has any regrets about taking a break from movies (post her marriage) at a time when she was enjoying stardom, the multi-lingual actress says that she is glad she got to do many wonderful films early in her career. Hasini from Bommarillu is a very memorable character. Also, Madhumati in Happy and the film Katha have stayed with the audience. As an actress, that gives me immense joy, Genelia observes. Does she plan to continue acting in the future? Absolutely. If good characters come my way, I am ready to act. Even if it's a small role, I prefer to play a memorable one, Genelia says. After her marriage, she took a break from acting but made a comeback with the Marathi film Ved (2022), where she also served as a producer. Besides acting, she has hosted television shows like Big Switch and Ladies vs Gentlemen and is a celebrity endorser for various brands.
