Director Aditya Haasan of 90's – A Middle Class Biopic fame has a fundamental principle: keep the narrative real, lighter-veined and slice-of-life to the extent possible. Forget about "conflict" in the story. His next directorial, Epic - First Semester, will once again prioritize drama, conversations, humour and love more than conflicts. "As the director of 90's, the dialogue writer of Premalu, and the producer of Little Hearts—whatever I have done, I have done it with sincerity. I love taking small stories that happen around us and bringing them beautifully to the screen. When some people heard the story of 90's, they questioned what was special about it. I stuck to my convictions because I strongly believed that no conflict is required. I am making Epic with the same conviction," Aditya said. Epic, starring Anand Deverakonda and Vaishnavi Chaitanya as Telugu emigrants in London, is a love story of two middle-class youngsters. "Every person who watches the film will be able to imagine themselves in it. You will enjoy every scene," Aditya said. Epic is produced by S Naga Vamsi on Sithara Entertainments and Sai Soujanya on Fortune Four Cinemas.
