'EPIC - FIRST SEMESTER' Glimpse is Out! Anand Deverakonda, Vaishnavi up for something special

The title glimpse of EPIC - FIRST SEMESTER has been released, setting the stage for a refreshing and emotionally rich love story. The film reunites the sensational pairing of Anand Deverakonda and Vaishnavi Chaitanya after their massive hit, Baby. The glimpse immediately grabs attention with a scene set at a students’ convocation in London, where Vaishnavi shares her vision of the perfect partner. Anand then makes a striking entry in an unexpected avatar, drawing inspiration from the balladeer Gaddar. Director Aditya Haasan marks his feature film debut, intriguingly bringing forward the Rohan character from a popular '90s - A Middle Class Biopic (web series) as the film's hero. Produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, the film boasts music by Hesham Abdul Wahab. With cinematography by Azeem Mohammad and editing by Navin Nooli, the film is set for a grand release in the first half of 2026. Speaking at today's event, Aditya Haasan thanked the audience for making his previous production venture, Little Hearts, a big hit. "As a director and as a producer, I have been genuine. I have always intended to show simple stories in a sincere manner. With Epic, we have broken all rules of storywriting. The storyline is simple. It's another very good middle-class male's love story," the filmmaker said. Anand said that the songs, comedy and love story in Epic will be relatable to all NRIs/OCIs. At a time when full-on rom-coms have become extremely rare, Epic is an out-and-out rom-com, Anand said.
