Pan-India star Dulquer Salmaan’s highly anticipated action-thriller I’m Game made its grand theatrical debut today. While the original Malayalam version opened as scheduled to enthusiastic audiences and strong initial feedback, the film's Telugu release hit an unexpected delay due to a technical glitch, leaving eager fans in the Telugu states awaiting updates.
Directed by Nahas Hidhayath and presented in Telugu by Annapurna Studios, I’m Game is a high-octane thriller revolving around high-stakes gambling, smart algorithms, and fast-paced suspense. Alongside Dulquer Salmaan in the lead, the film stars Kayadu Lohar and Samyuktha Viswanathan in key roles. While Malayalam audiences are already enjoying the slick execution and intense performances on the big screen, technical glitches and digital content delivery issues led to last-minute delays and show cancellations across Telugu theatres.
Addressing the situation, the makers and the Telugu distribution team issued a statement expressing sincere regret to moviegoers who arrived for early morning shows. They confirmed that the technical hurdles regarding Digital Cinema Package (DCP) keys and content distribution are actively being resolved, with regular screenings expected to resume as soon as the issues are cleared.
