Dil Raju's banner becomes distribution partner of Mohanlal's L2

The second installment of Lucifer has locked its release date. Titled L2: Empuraan , the action thriller will be released in theatres on March 27th . The news is that Dil Raju 's Sri Venkateswara Creations is going to release the crazy project in theatres in the Telugu States. Making the announcement, the makers of Sankranthiki Vasthunnam described Lalettan as a legendary actor. Shot in Shimla, Leh, the United Kingdom, United States, Chennai, Kerala, Gujarat and Hyderabad, the sequel is a high-end one. Tovino Thomas, Manju Warrier and Indrajith Sukumaran will be seen in other pivotal roles in L2. Cinematographer Sujith Vaassudev, Editor Akhilesh Mohan, and Music Director Deepak Dev are associated with the project as behind-the-screens talents. Recently, Mohanlal confirmed the return of the Drishyam series. Mollywood director Jeethu Joseph is helming the third edition of Drishyam. Producer Dil Raju is also going to release Sapthagiri's comedy film Pelli Kani Prasad on March 21st.
