Chiranjeevi’s Iconic Cowboy Film Kodama Simham Set for Grand Re-Release

Fans of Megastar Chiranjeevi are gearing up for a nostalgic treat as his iconic 1990 Telugu adventure film Kodama Simham is slated for a grand re-release on November 21st. The film, which marked Chiranjeevi s only venture into the cowboy genre, will return to theaters in stunning 4K resolution with enhanced 5.1 digital surround sound . Originally produced by Kaikala Nageswara Rao (who didn't back down even though the budget shot up owing to its unique backdrop) and directed by K. Murali Mohana Rao, Kodama Simham was a groundbreaking production at the time, filmed across five states. The movie, featuring Chiranjeevi in a never-before-seen cowboy avatar alongside co-stars Radha, Mohan Babu, and others, was lauded for its grand scale, innovative direction, and memorable music by Raj–Koti. The film ran for over 100 days in nearly 20 centres. It was later dubbed into Hindi as Main Hoon Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi and into English as Hunters of the Indian Treasure. The cowboy characterization excited Chiru, who okayed the proposal early on. The re-release announcement, made by Ramaa Films head Kaikala Nageswara Rao on Vijayadashami, has sparked excitement among fans eager to relive the film s mass energy, charisma, and comedic highlights.
