Chikiri Chikiri from Peddi sees hype building up

Adding to Peddi's allure is its soundtrack, composed by Oscar-winning maestro A.R. Rahman , marking his full album for a Telugu project in years. The first single, a high-energy romantic duet titled Chikiri Chikiri , has become the talk of the town, thanks to cryptic teases from the core team. Mainly filmed on Mega Power Star Ram Charan and choreographed by Jani Master, the track promises pulsating beats, folk-infused rhythms, and visuals shot on rugged terrains, highlighting the hero's daring dance moves and raw charisma. Director Buchi Babu Sana kicked off the intrigue with a post about Rahman's upcoming live concert at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad on November 8th . "Every tune he creates turns into pure emotion. Honoured to be working with the maestro for our next film PEDDI Let s meet at the concert sir. Something special is yet to come," he wrote. November 2–3, 2025: Ram Charan amplified the mystery by sharing a candid BTS photo from Rahman's studio, featuring the composer at his piano and Buchi Babu observing intently. Captioned "What s cooking, guys?" Rahman himself joined the fun, replying to Charan. Peddi , directed by Buchi Babu Sana, also features Janhvi Kapoor, Kannada superstar Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, and Divyendu Sharma. Today, the makers also confirmed the presence of Bollywood actor Boman Irani of 3 Idiots fame. Peddi hits the screens on March 27th, 2026 .
