"From the pages of the history comes a revolutionary saga. The epic unfolds now," wrote Swapna Cinema, unveiling the trailer for Champion, the Christmas release. Mega Power Star Ram Charan was present at the event.
The film's story is set in 1947-48, when the Nizam weren't ready to step down. The Razakars terrorize the subjects. The male lead's character makes a cheerful entry when a character foreshadows him. Circumstances push him to take on a risky, adventurous mission. Roshan Meka's Williams falls in love with Anaswara Rajan's Chadraelekha. Kalyan Chakravarthy and Murali Sharma play patriotic villagers.
"When I saw the first visuals of Champion, I was wowed. I came together so well, be it the production design, the cinematography or other things. It's good thing for Roshan to be compared with Hrithik Roshan in terms of looks. After watching Champion, Answara became a favourite," Kalki 2898 AD director Nag Ashwin said. "You guys are in for a treat," he assured the audience.
Peter Hein's action choreography seems to be fashioned after the film's sports backdrop. Madhie and Mickey J Meyer have taken care of the cinematography and music, respectively. Production Design is by Thota Tharani.
Champion is up for a big release in theatres on December 25th.
