The film revolves around Venkateswarlu "Venky," an unemployed graduate from Anakapalli who moves to Hyderabad to stay with his father's childhood friend, Srinivasa Moorthy. Moorthy's daughter, Nandini "Nandu," is engaged to a US-based software engineer, Prasad. Though Venky and Nandu start off with petty squabbles, their interactions quickly turn into a deep, genuine friendship.
As preparations for the wedding continue, Nandu falls in love with Venky and confesses her feelings.
