Boyapati Sreenu Promises 'Booming' Soundscape, Riveting Visuals for Akhanda 2

The frames and soundscape of Akhanda 2 will be among its best features, said director Boyapati Sreenu, speaking at the film's pre-release event on Friday. In his speech, the star director thanked the movie's cinematographers for doing justice to his vision in the form of riveting visuals. Appreciation also poured in for Thaman, whose background music is expected to be a blasting treat. The maker of movies like Sarrainodu and Skanda also thanked Akhanda 2's stunt directors, particularly the Ram-Laxman duo. Each of the action blocks in the movie, which comes with a geopolitical angle, is founded on a strong emotion. Boyapati then touched upon the film's spiritual essence, embodied by Balakrishna's character. He observed that India has disseminated the highest wisdom to the world through 'itihasas' like the Ramayana and the Mahabharata, and holy texts like the Bhagavad Gita. "Would God keep quiet when such a land is attacked? He will unleash his 'thaandavam'," the director added. He praised the valour of Indian soldiers in their battles against Pakistan. Finally, Boyapati said that the Telugu film industry knows no caste, religion or other narrow identities. He wished for the success of upcoming biggies, especially the Sankranthi 2026 releases. Akhanda 2 has Aadhi Pinisetty and Kabir Duhan Singh in negative roles. Virupaksha and Bimbisara actress Samyuktha Menon has an action role. Balakrishna plays two characters.
