AR Murugadoss makes an interesting comment on Madharaasi's Ghajini parallel

Director AR Murugadoss's Madharaasi is gearing up for a worldwide theatrical release on September 5th . In a recent interview, the director shed light on the film s genre, drawing a parallel to his blockbuster hit, Ghajini. When asked about the nature of the film, ARM described Madharaasi as an action movie at its heart, but one where the love story is the main driving force. The love track drives the action, he explained. Just like how Ghajini was a revenge story driven by love, Madharaasi will follow a similar style. While the full plot is kept under wraps, it's been revealed that Madharaasi is an action film centered on the conflict between a special task force in Tamil Nadu and a powerful North Indian mafia. The story will delve into themes of love, revenge, and sacrifice within this conflict. Rukmini Vasanth is the female lead opposite Sivakarthikeyan . Vidyut Jammwal has been roped in as the chief villain. NV Prasad of Sri Lakshmi Movies is bankrolling the prestigious project. Also featuring Biju Menon, Shabeer Kallarakkal, and Vikranth, the film s cinematography is done by Sudeep Elamon. Edited by Sreekar Prasad, the action direction is by Kevin Kumar.
