Anushka Shetty talks about Ghaati in a phone call with Rana

In a phone call with Rana Daggubati, actress Anushka Shetty has suggested that her character in Ghaati is a victim who becomes a criminal. Sheelavathi is her name in the Krish Jagarlamudi directorial. She rises from her lows and limitations and becomes a legend. The story takes place somewhere in Andhra and surrounds a tribe. When Anushka says that only Krish could have given her films like Vedam and Ghaati , Rana describes the filmmaker as a deep man. The Rana Naidu actor adds, He has got a different sensibility altogether. Anushka then says that Saroja from Vedam was one of the best characters in her career. There was a thin line. Krish garu added a layer of innocence to Saroja. Sheelavathi in Ghaati is also beautifully etched, much like other characters like Desiraju (played by Vikram Prabhu). Visually, it is unique. We shot in hitherto-unexplored locations, Anushka says. During the call, the Bhallaladeva of Baahubali compliments Devasena of the film, saying that only she can fit certain narratives. At this, the Bhaagamathie actress blushes. Towards the end of the call, Anushka assures Rana that she will be seen more and more from next year. So, the actress plans to do films back to back!
