The upcoming Chiranjeevi starrer Kaaka is getting bigger with a notable addition to its cast. The makers have announced that acclaimed filmmaker and actor Anurag Kashyap has joined the film in a powerful role. The announcement comes as the team begins a new shooting schedule, further raising curiosity around Bobby Kolli’s upcoming action entertainer.
The makers welcomed Anurag Kashyap with a striking post describing him as “fearless in thought, ruthless in truth and deadly in presence.” While details about his character are being kept under wraps, the team has confirmed that he will be seen in a powerful role.
Kaaka marks the second collaboration between Chiranjeevi and Bobby Kolli after Waltair Veerayya. The film has already generated interest with its first glimpse, which introduced Chiranjeevi as K Satyam, a supervisor at Ammaji Aqua Industries. The teaser also hinted at a hidden action-filled side to his seemingly ordinary character.
The film features an ensemble cast including Anaswara Rajan, Nivetha Pethuraj, Sunil, Getup Srinu and Rachita Ram in important roles. Produced by K Venkata Narayana under KVN Productions, Kaaka has been locked for a worldwide theatrical release on January 13, 2027, during the Sankranthi season.
With Anurag Kashyap now joining the cast, the film gains another intriguing performer whose screen presence could add a new dimension to Bobby Kolli’s action-packed world. More details about his character are expected to emerge as the promotions progress.
