Allu Arjun pays a rich tribute as Vedam turns 15

It was on this day in 2010 that Vedam , the melodrama anthology hyperlink film, was released in theatres. The multi-starrer, written and directed by Krish Jagarlamudi, is one of the most critically acclaimed movies in Allu Arjun's career. Taking to social media today, the Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo actor paid a tribute to the movie. A film that was out of the box for me, the Icon Star wrote, thanking Krish for conceiving an honest subject. Bunny described Anushka Shetty, Manchu Manoj and Manoj Bajpayee as amazing co-stars. The Pushpa actor added that sharing this journey with you all was truly special. Produced by Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni under their banner Arka Media Works , Vedam also featured Saranya Ponvannan, Nagayya, Deeksha Seth, and Lekha Washington. MM Keeravani composed the music while Gnana Shekar VS did the cinematography. The producer-duo and the composer went on to collaborate on the Baahubali movies years later. Vedam went on to secure two Nandi Awards in Best Feature Film - Gold and Special Jury Award categories. It won four 58th Filmfare Awards South awards. The screenplay style seen in Vedam was novel for Telugu cinema at that time. Allu Arjun is currently doing a movie in collaboration with director Atlee. Krish Jagarlamudi's Hari Hara Veera Mallu is scheduled to hit the screens soon.
