Akhanda 2: Thaandavam teaser impresses, makers promise superlative experience

Akhanda 2 is just a few days away from hitting the screens. At the film's pre-release event, a special release teaser was put out by the makers. 14 Reels Plus is bankrolling this December 5th release. Speaking on the occasion, Balakrishna spoke of the hard work that went into the role. "It took two hours to put on the getup and one hour to take it off. We shot this film in Georgia in many very cold locations and also in many wonderful locations," the Nata Simha revealed. He further suggested that that the "power, respect, and valour of Sanathana Dharma have been shown wonderfully", adding that Dharma is the root of India. "Even in the army of Chhatrapati Shivaji, there were Aghoras who used to fight great battles. My film is like Ugadi Pachadi that is rich in a variety of tastes/elements," the Bhagavanth Kesari actor said. In his speech, director Boyapati Sreenu said that Akhanda, released in 2021, has gone deep and wide in its reach. "We started the sequel thinking that if a Thaandavam (cosmic dance of Shiva) is performed, Lord Parameswara Himself should be felt. After watching Akhanda 2, we realized that doing this film was a divine mission. The Lord himself made us execute that task. You won't believe some of the locations we shot in for this film. The Lord himself showed us the way. Soldiers who fight for their motherland exist everywhere, but warriors who fight for their Karma Bhoomi exist only in India," he said.
