Akhanda 2: Balakrishna's movie locks its release date

Akhanda 2 has locked a new release date. The film, starring Nandamuri Balakrishna in the lead, will hit the screens on December 5th . The first installment of Akhanda was released in the first week of December, in 2021. So, the sequel is coming out four years later. Promotions will take off on a big scale soon. A song was recently shot as one of the last ones to be filmed. The electrifying mass dance number was shot on a massive set in Hyderabad. The song features over 600 dancers and is choreographed by Bhanu Master, who was also behind the iconic Jai Balayya song from the first film. Akhanda 2 is directed by Boyapati Srinu. Aadhi Pinisetty is playing a crucial role. Samyuktha has a prominent part. Harshaali Malhotra was roped in recently. Thaman is the music director. Earlier this year, some scenes were shot in Prayagraj during the Kumbh Mela. Akhanda 2 is backed by producers Raam Achanta and Gopichand Achanta. M Tejaswini Nandamuri is the presenter for this true-blue pan-Indian movie. The cinematography is by C Ramprasad and Santosh D Detakae.
