Aishwarya Rai Bachchan once again made her presence felt at Paris Fashion Week as she walked the runway for L’Oréal Paris Le Défilé 2026. The actor participated in the ninth edition of the annual showcase on September 28 at Place Joffre, with the Eiffel Tower and École Militaire providing the backdrop. This year’s show was themed “Express Your Worth.”
Representing L’Oreal Paris, Aishwarya appeared in a dramatic all-black couture look from Syrian designer label Yara Shoemaker. The custom ensemble featured a black velvet gown with crystal detailing and a sweeping cape that added movement to the look. She completed the outfit with a jewel-encrusted crown, while her newly revealed deep burgundy-red hair and bold red lip gave the appearance a striking finish.
Aishwarya was part of an international lineup that included Kendall Jenner, Simone Ashley, Eva Longoria, Viola Davis, Jane Fonda, Andie MacDowell and Celine Dion. The show brought together L’Oreal ambassadors and personalities from different fields for a celebration centred on individuality, diversity and women’s empowerment.
One of the evening’s memorable moments came when Celine Dion made a surprise appearance towards the end of the show and performed “I’m Alive.” Aishwarya was seen sharing a warm moment with Dion before joining in the celebration as the singer performed on the runway.
Aishwarya’s latest appearance continues her long association with L’Oreal Paris and her regular presence at the brand’s Paris Fashion Week showcase. This year, her striking couture look, new hair colour and moments alongside global stars have once again made her appearance one of the talking points from Le Défilé 2026.
