Actor Sivaji is glad to have made a strong comeback with Court this year. Very soon, he will be portraying a pivotal (almost central) character in Dhandoraa, to be released in theatres for Christmas.
Next year, he will be a prominent cast member in two important movies. The first one is Epic - First Semester, the Anand Deverakonda-Vaishnavi Chaitanya movie made as a sequel to '90s - A Middle Class Biopic. This one is produced by Sithara Entertainments and directed by Aditya Haasan. "It’s shaping up to be a deeply emotional film with several powerful moments that will strongly connect with families, especially fathers and sons," Sivaji says.
The other major outing is Sampradayini Suppini Suddapoosani, co-starring Laya, Ali Dhanraj, Prince, Jabardasth Emmanuel, Raj Tirandasu, Karan, and others.
"I have mostly been working with new directors, and I actually enjoy that. Many filmmakers here tend to over-calculate and hesitate, even when there’s so much acting talent within our own industry. Instead, they often look outside. I have been part of this industry for nearly 30 years and have played several strong negative roles, but perhaps directors didn’t fully explore that side of me earlier," Sivaji says in his latest interview.
