Actress Payal Rajput Mourns Father's Passing After Cancer Battle

Tollywood actress Payal Rajput's father, Vimal Kumar Rajput, aged 67, passed away on July 28, 2025, after battling cancer for some time. Payal shared this tragic news on social media. Taking to Instagram, here is what Payal wrote: Papa, I did everything I could to help you fight cancer, but I couldn't succeed. I am sorry. I will see you on the other side. Though you are no longer by my side, your love still guides me every day. I miss your smile, your voice, your presence. You may be gone from this world, but never from my heart. Love you Papa, she added. Payal Rajput achieved widespread recognition and critical acclaim with her Telugu debut in RX 100 (2018). Her bold and nuanced portrayal of Indu in this romantic action drama was a significant departure from her previous roles and garnered immense attention.
