Actor Gopichand's new movie with SVCC made official

Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra of Attarintiki Daredi and Virupaksha fame has collaborated with actor Gopichand. The project, which is yet to be given a name, was formally launched today. The movie, which will ostensibly have Gopichand in a violent role, marks the directorial debut of Kumar Vellanki. Shamdat will be cranking the camera. The man of grit is back. This time in a new dimension of chills, the makers wrote, making the announcement. Meenakshi Dinesh, a Mollywood actress, will be cast opposite the Seetimaar actor. Pics from the launch ceremony were put out by the production house of BVSN Prasad . The film's production will be rolled out soon. The banner, in recent times, has also produced Gandeevadhari Arjuna, Nikhil Siddhartha's Appudo Ippudo Eppudo, and Siddu Jonnalagadda's Jack . In Tamil, its movie Star was released last year. Ghazi fame director Sankalp Reddy is also currently directing a movie with Gopichand as the hero. Srinivasaa Silver Screen is bankrolling it. Announcing the project in March, the makers said that it is going to be a historical epic movie to be made on a grand scale with a huge budget .
