Shambhala, released in theatres on Thursday, grossed Rs 5.40 Cr in two days. "Growing love, growing numbers — Shambala registers a Rs 5.4 Cr gross in its first two days," the team behind the supernatural mystical thriller stated.
Speaking at the movie's success meet on Friday, Aadi Saikumar stated that plans are afoot to increase the number of theatres soon. "Please watch Shambhala in theatres—it’s an experience you can fully enjoy only on the big screen. Celebrate this holiday season with Shambhala," he urged the audience.
Director Ugandhar Muni said that two OTT platforms had competed to acquire our movie after watching it. "We released the film amid intense competition and held preview shows over the past three days. During theatre visits, the response was extraordinary everywhere. People are calling nonstop for tickets—ironically, even we are struggling to get tickets ourselves. Housefull boards are up at every theatre," the director added.
Producer Rajashekhar Annabhimoju stated that the response has been thunderous. "The film began with Ugandhar’s story, and after Mahidhar Reddy joined, its scale and stature transformed completely," he added.
Co-starring Archana Iyer and others, the film was released in Nizam by Mythri Movie Distributors.
