418 is expanding its promotional campaign across languages, with the makers announcing the release of the Hindi, Kannada and Tamil trailers. The three versions of the trailer will be released on October 5 at 11:07 AM, giving audiences across these markets a closer look at the horror thriller.
The Telugu trailer has already introduced the film’s unsettling world, centred around a mysterious building and the secrets surrounding Room No. 418. The trailer follows an 18-year-old who enters the abandoned property, where a series of disturbing events begin to unfold.
Presented by Prashanth Neel and directed by Kirtan Nadagouda, 418 marks the latter’s directorial debut. The film stars Chaithra Achar, Surya Raj, Charan Lakkaraju and Preethi Pagadala in key roles. Mythri Movie Makers is producing the film, with Naveen Yerneni and Yalamanchili Ravi Shankar backing the project.
The multilingual trailer rollout comes after the makers postponed the film’s earlier September 18 release to prepare for a wider theatrical release across multiple languages. The team had cited encouraging responses from audiences and exhibitors in other markets as one of the reasons for expanding the release strategy.
With the Hindi, Kannada and Tamil trailers now scheduled for October 5, 418 is taking its horror story to a wider audience. The upcoming releases should also give audiences in these markets a better idea of the film’s tone and mysterious world.
