The makers of 418 have announced a postponement of the film’s theatrical release. The horror thriller, which was scheduled to hit screens on September 18, will not be releasing on the previously announced date.
Mythri Movie Makers shared the update through their official social media handle, confirming that a new release date will be announced soon. The production house also revealed plans for a grand multi-language release, raising expectations for a wider theatrical rollout.
“The wait gets a little longer, but #418 is getting grander,” the makers stated in their announcement.
The postponement comes after the film generated curiosity with its horror-based promotional material. The trailer offered glimpses of an abandoned building, the mysterious Room 418 and unsettling incidents involving its occupants. The film is expected to explore supernatural elements while building tension around the secrets connected to the room.
Written and directed by Kirtan Nadagouda, 418 is presented by Prashanth Neel and produced by Naveen Yerneni and Yalamanchili Ravi Shankar under Mythri Movie Makers.
