Gautham Raju, the most senior and talented editor in Tollywood, passed away last night at the age of 68. He had been suffering from serious kidney problems for a few days and was being treated until last night in a top private hospital. Unfortunately, Gowtham Raju left this world last night, leaving everyone in shock and sadness. Many celebrities from Tollywood, including top actors and directors who worked with Gowtham Raju, are sending condolences to his family. Chiranjeevi, the Megastar of Tollywood, said in his tweet that Gowtham Raju’s demise is a huge loss for the entire industry. He also recollected his work experience with the editor throughout his film journey, starting from Chattaniki Kallu Levu to Khaidi No. 150.

Director Harish Shankar said in his tweet that Gowtham Raju is the man behind many of his blockbusters. Also, he revealed that he had learnt a lot of filmmaking from the legendary film editor. Harish Shankar worked with Gautham Raju for Gabbar Singh movie. Gautham Raju also worked for other films of Pawan Kalyan including Suswagatham, Gokulamlo Seetha and Gopala Gopala. Pawan Kalyan too sent his condolences to the family of the editor.
