In May 2024, producer Dil Raju announced an action thriller with Vijay Deverakonda as the hero. Directed by Ravi Kiran Kola, the film is in the pre-production stage. Sri Venkateswara Creations will be ensuring its release in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi languages, on a pan-Indian scale.
On Wednesday, Dil Raju announced the title of the movie. Rowdy Janardhana is its name. It is a political drama set in Rayalaseema. “The blood on his hands is not of their death, but of his own Rebirth,” director Kola wrote on social media at the time of announcing the project. Director Kola made his debut in 2019 with Raja Vaaru Rani Vaaru.
VD’s next theatrical release is Kingdom:
Director Gowtam Tinnanuri’s film is VD’s immediate next release. With music by Anirudh Ravichander, its Teaser was released recently. Shot by Jomon T John and Girish Gangadharan, the film has action direction by Yannick Ben, Chethan D’Souza, and Real Satish. Produced by Naga Vamsi S and Sai Soujanya of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune 4 Cinemas, the film will hit the screens on May 30th.
