“We both will be together till the end. Our destinies were written to be one,” Kamal Haasan’s character says in the trailer of Thug Life. The Mani Ratnam directorial, ultimately releasing in theatres on June 5th, is laced with dramatic action set pieces and a volatile relationship involving a father and his adopted son.
“Death and I have been playing this game,” says the heroic protagonist towards the end of the riveting trailer. Lines like “Power is not for the asking; it is for the taking” land with strength.
