Kamal Haasan’s Thug Life, directed by Mani Ratnam, will hit the screens on June 5th, 2025.

The Release Date Teaser, minus dialogues, is full of swagger and style. Mani Ratnam is crafting a simmering action drama co-written by Kamal Haasan himself. The Nayakan duo is telling a story that lives up to an ‘His STORY, His RULES’ attitude.
The action drama also stars Silambarasan, Trisha Krishnan, Ashok Selvan, Joju George, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Nassar, Tanikella Bharani, Abhirami Gopikumar, Ali Fazal, and others.
AR Rahman, the legendary music composer, who recently worked on Dhanush’s Raayan, is on board. Cinematographer Ravi K. Chandran is also working on the movie. Red Giant Movies and Madras Talkies have joined Raaj Kamal Films International.
Production Design is by Sharmishta Roy, the dance choreography is by Kruti Mahesh Midya and costumes have been designed by Eka Lakhani.
