The Girlfriend is the title of Rashmika Mandanna’s upcoming movie. Co-starring Dheekshith Shetty as another leading actor, the film is written and directed by Rahul Ravindran.
Vijay Deverakonda has provided a voiceover for the Teaser. Sharing it on social media, the actor wrote, “I love every visual of this teaser. I am so excited to see this drama unfold.” The Geetha Govindam and Dear Comrade actor further added that Rashmika has been a “lucky charm for so many of us actors, being part of our biggest successes”. The Arjun Reddy star further wrote, “Growing fiercely as an actor, a performer and a star but all the while still remaining the same girl as a person, the same girl i met on sets 8 years ago.”

Rashmika, who is basking in the glory of Pushpa 2, wrote, “Finally baby project is all set to meet you guys. I know we’ve made you wait for a long long time.. but here it’s finally coming out!”
Plugging the Teaser, director Rahul described Rashmika as “luminous, captivating, fantastic”.
Produced by Dheeraj Mogilineni and Vidya Koppineedi, the film is presented by Allu Aravind. Hi Nanna fame Hesham Abdul Wahab’s haunting tune is a major highlight of the teaser. Shot by cinematographer Krishnan Vasant, the film is edited by Chota K Prasad.
