The First Look of Jai Hanuman, the prestigious pan-Indian movie, reveals that Kantara fame Rishab Shetty is playing Lord Hanuman in this Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe (PVCU) spectacle. Presenting the poster and making the big reveal on the eve of Diwali, the makers have hinted that certain specific virtues will be glorified in the movie.
“A vow from the Tretayuga, bound to be fulfilled in the Kaliyuga,” the initial lines say, suggesting that the movie will feature a grand narrative spanning two Yugas. The film is further described as an “epic of loyalty, courage and devotion”.
Mythri Movie Makers has joined hands with director Prasanth Varma for the colossal project led by Rishab Shetty. “Let’s begin this DIWALI with the holy chant, #JaiHanuman and resonate it across the globe,” the makers added. Kantara fetched Rishab the National Film Award for Best Actor in 2022.
Jai Hanuman is described as a grand vision by director Prasanth Varma. “This Diwali, bringing the legends to life with a tale that rekindles the flames of valor and honors our Indian Itihasas (sic),” producers Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar earlier said.
