Thangalaan Story Line:
During the British Colonial era, a fierce tribal chieftain named Thangalaan (Vikram) and his tribe from a remote hamlet assist British General Lord Clement in prospecting for riches from the gold mines in their village.
While searching for riches, the villagers arouse the wrath of the local mythical figure, Aarathi.
In the pursuit of gold, can greed prove to be the ultimate evil? The background of Thangalaan’s story is what ultimately happens to the good-hearted and innocent tribal people.
On-screen Performances:
Thangalaan’s casting can be termed as the movie’s biggest asset. The multifaceted actor Chiyaan Vikram gives an incredible honest performance that is really amazing. In his storied career, he has undoubtedly played one of his best performances in Thangalaan.
Parvathy Thiruvothu has an unparalleled on-screen presence. She will also receive a lot of recognition for the part she played and the effortless way she played it. Malavika Mohanan, an actress, has also provided a striking performance in the role of Aarathi, who simply excites and fascinates.
Technical Aspects:
The script by Pa Ranjith is excellent, however it does leave a few things hanging. Given the length of the movie, it is impressive that his premise and narrative are able to capture and maintain the audience’s interests.
The soundtracks for Thangalaan are a step up and are among of GV Prakash’s best compositions as a music director.
Good cinematography is done by Kishor Kumar. The film’s visuals are a breathtaking theatrical experience, with each picture framed like a masterpiece and certain necessary moments even managing to evoke a sense of eeriness.
End-Note- A good rural action drama with amazing performances from Vikram, Parvathy, and Malavika Mohanan. Thangalaan movie is a great narrative with excellent musical support and outstanding cinematography and technicalities.
