Naga Chaitanya is gung-ho about his career’s biggest movie, Thandel. Ahead of the movie’s release on February 7th, in his latest interview, Chay said that the final 30 minutes of the movie gave him absolute satisfaction. “The climax is going to give an emotional high to the audience,” he assures.
Some of the incidents written in the script of Thandel at first felt like events we get to see in authentic documentaries. Chay says that the script was developed into a “cinematic language” of its own. The grammar makes it a unanimously engaging film, he suggests.
As an actor, the Majili star felt that Thandel provided him the opportunity to graduate to the next level in terms of performance. He did his homework for months by trying to internalize the character Raju and the beats of the script. He also got trained in the Srikakulam dialect.
He has teamed up with Geetha Arts for the first time since 100% Love. “I am confident that the magic is going to be repeated. I had been waiting to collaborate with the banner,” Chay says. The Thank You and Dhootha actor calls Sai Pallavi a fantastic actress.
While presenter Allu Aravind believes that Thandel has the calibre to win a National Award, Chay says that is not thinking about that possibility.
