Thandel is going to be a February 7th, 2025 release. Geetha Arts announced the release date today, ending the months-long suspense.
Widespread Release:
Director Chandoo Mondeti said that the release date was decided after considering many permutations and combinations. The goal is to make Thandel theatrically available even in small villages. “Believe me, we are going to see the best numbers, best revenue,” the Karthikeya 2 maker added.
Allu Aravind lauded the performances in the film. He began by appreciating Sai Pallavi’s talent, saying that he turned emotional after watching her studied performance in the recent Amaran. “She is like a daughter to me,” the senior producer said.
The Rs 100 Cr Goal:
Allu Aravind said that this is the era of ‘mouth talk’ about movies spreading instantly. Bunny Vasu spoke of the complicated making process involved. “We had to seek permissions, shoot in tough terrain. We have 22 days of shoot left. We are still trying to get some permissions. We need a foreign-made Naval ship to be onboarded. And it is going to be the property of some other country. If we have to place the Indian Tricolour on a foreign property, we need to seek a lot of permissions,” he said, explaining the practical difficulties involved. Bunny Vasu thundered that the film will enter the one-billion rupee club without fail.
A Sincere Story:
Sai Pallavi said, “The canvas on which Thandel has been mounted has only grown since the time of its launch. Geetha Arts and the entire team has always taken every opportunity to make me feel special. Thandel a sincerely-told real-life story.”
A Huge Canvas:
Naga Chaitanya began his speech by greeting Akkineni fans. “The story revolves around 22 fishermen. February 7th is going to be nothing short of a festival. Bunny Vasu gives his actors the fullest support. The scale of Thandel is so huge. Chandoo is more than just a director to me. He is my friend and well-wisher. Box-Office Queen Sai Pallavi sees Thandel not just from her character’s perspective but also as a whole. I feel jittery when I have to dance alongside her. We are going to hold more events in the future,” the actor said.
