The Andhra Pradesh government has approved a price hike for the first seven days of Thandel’s release, which begins on February 7th.
Single screen theaters will see a Rs. 50 increase, bringing ticket prices to Rs. 197. Multiplexes will charge Rs. 252, which is a Rs. 75 increase. These prices are in effect for the first week following the film’s release this Friday.
Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi have played Srikakulam-based love pair in the movie. “Since my lifestyle is distant to those living in Srikakulam, I moved among the people there to get a grip on the character, before filming was begun. Since many incidents narrated in Thandel happened in real life, the movie is thoroughly honest. It is no gimmicky in nature. That’s what I liked the most about it,” Chay said in a recent interview.
The film is directed by Chandoo Mondeti and presented by Allu Aravind. Producer Bunny Vas has bankrolled it on Geetha Arts. The film is carrying excellent buzz. The makers are confident that lovers are going to watch it on repeat. The songs composed by Devi Sri Prasad have been successful.
