Thandel has raked in a staggering Rs 41.20 crore gross worldwide in just two days since its release. The film’s remarkable success has exceeded all expectations, with Day 2 collections surpassing the already impressive Day 1 numbers in the Telugu states.
With a super strong Day 3 loading, Thandel is destined to be the biggest hit in Naga Chaitanya’s career. The worldwide gross collection of Rs 21.27 crore on Day 1 was followed by an equally good run on Day 2. Day 3 being a Sunday, Thandel is expected to gross a higher figure.
Earlier today, Naga Chaitanya and Chandoo Mondeti offered prayers at the Kanaka Durga Temple in Vijayawada to seek the divine blessings after the blockbuster success. They watched a Thandel show at the Sailaja Theatre. Later today, they will be at Eluru’s Ambica Delux and Rajahmundry’s Geetha Apsara Theatre to watch the film along with the audience.
